6 days ...

... til wood floor refinishing

My friend Jenni, who suggested this wainscoting in the first place to cover damaged plaster, was granted the opportunity to help paint it.

With her help last night, we got the walls and wainscoting in the master bedroom painted.

Boy, that original window trim looks hideous against the fresh paint. It will get a coat of the white oil paint soon.

Tip:
  • If you are painting with oil over a series of days, store paintbrushes in a plastic bag in the freezer. Give them a few minutes to soften at room temperature before using.
